Sissy, Whit, and I had a good time visiting with Mom and Dad. We stayed in the Motor Home (which needs to be used). Mom looks good and seems to be feeling better. Her foot was bleeding some, apparently due to some procedure the doctor had done just before we arrived.
Dad drove me to Valdosta Wednesday... I had a good season of prayer all the way there. LOL...
He thought I was just lacking conversation and praising Jesus continually. He actually did really good considering how windy it was on the trip. Honestly, I didn't do much better driving back.
Mom and Dad are planning a trip this way in March and we are anxious for them to come.
We have a busy summer planned here and hope you all can come visit.
But today I have Georgia On My Mind...

Funny, because I spent part of the other night at work looking at Louisiana stuff...missing the culture, the grungy look of the place I call home...
Missing my big brother and my little big sister, and all the trappings that go along with them...
I guess it is true, sometimes we do long the most for what is just out of our reach...like a 3 year old staring at the cookie jar on the big tall counter...I miss my family today...
