She's Sixteen...
My favorite teenager turned "Sweet 16" today. My, how she is growing into a beautiful and independent young woman.
Time progresses monotonously onward, without consideration to our feelings or desires.
I thank God for the past, both successes and failures, and look with anxious anticipation to what the future hold.
I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow.

Dad & Mom
Bobby will be going with Dad back to the doctor Wednesday. The wound vac is off. Please be praying about that foot. It looked mighty red to me. And it has started swelling again. I know part of that is because he doesn't keep it elevated.
Mom has been told to be off her feet. Dr. Zeigler knows her well. He said "Of course, I know you're going to do what you want."
Dad looked really puny today. I am concerned for them both.
Keep us in your prayers.

SGMC Valdosta, Ga.
I took care of as much business as I could this morning and drove in to South Georgia Medical Center tonight.
I feel tired from the trip and an active Sunday. Dad is sleeping (with his usual tossing and turning and an occasional, WHAT WHAT! in the middle of a breathe).
The foot looks rough, nothing the Lord can't handle.
Dad is in good spirits and has his boy to give instructions too.
It should be an interesting night, since he usually sleeps in 10-15 minute increments.

Dad
Dad got really short of breath last night. We loaded him up and took him to the ER. They kept him. I think they may do a dialysis treatment today.
He is in room 302. The doctor in the ER said he wasn't sure it was not his heart, because his lungs sounded clear. But, I didn't see any indication that it was from his EKG or vital signs. I'll update later today.
I'll be out and about today. I will have my cell phone.
Love you all!

Georgia On My Mind....
Sissy, Whit, and I had a good time visiting with Mom and Dad. We stayed in the Motor Home (which needs to be used). Mom looks good and seems to be feeling better. Her foot was bleeding some, apparently due to some procedure the doctor had done just before we arrived.
Dad drove me to Valdosta Wednesday... I had a good season of prayer all the way there. LOL...
He thought I was just lacking conversation and praising Jesus continually. He actually did really good considering how windy it was on the trip. Honestly, I didn't do much better driving back.
Mom and Dad are planning a trip this way in March and we are anxious for them to come.
We have a busy summer planned here and hope you all can come visit.

Mom's Good News
You have probably already heard that Dr. Zeigler said Mom could be up to walk some. She was very excited and ready to head to Louisiana to be with her other babies as soon as it warms up a bit. Her feet looked good.
