Update from Georgia

At approximately 1pm (GA time) tomorrow we will return to OR to have the L great toe and the R 4th toe removed. He also wanted to scope her knee to rinse it out with antibiotics, to which she refuses. (I don't really see the need so I didn't push this). She bled from her mouth from about 545pm until about 930pm. The gave her another unit of FFP (fresh frozen plasma) and the GI doc came in *finally* and looked in her mouth. She was actually bleeding from her tongue!! The doctor said he feels like this is where it came from in the past when her mouth bled. She held pressure and it stopped. Bobby said it was about the size of an ink pen tip.

More tomorrow. Let's cont to pray and be encouraged in the Lord. Mom's faith is still great!!

Sissy's Birthday

The church honored Sissy with a cake, cards, and gifts.

Mama Peggy Merritt

Just got off the phone with Dad. Mom's blood sugar is up to 130, when it had been as low as 33... Good news is always welcome. Let's continue to pray. God bless. JTM

D'Ann

Happy Happy Birthday!!!!

To my wonderful sister (in-law).

So many years ago I sat up and waited for my brother to come by and bring a girl he wanted me to meet. And when he finally arrived I don't know who thought you were more wonderful, me or him. The Lord knew just what my brother and my family needed. Your grace and your gentle spirit cause you to always shine.
And I know so well how important it is to let someone know how important they are. I love you and thank God for you always.
When I grow up I hope to be half as wonderful as you are (and the other half to be as wonderful as my *other* sister).
I hope you have had a wonderful birthday!

Good Morning,
I created an account with the blog site today. We are doing okay. Randy quit working for Bro. Nathan yesterday. I really don't know what he is going to do? For a while he is going to help Trent build a house in Singer. I'm off today, they closed schools so teachers could rally in Baton Rouge. More later
Have a great day!!!
